Walking side by side when cancer strikes
is the greatest gift we can give to another person
When a loved one is diagnosed with cancer it affects everyone close to the patient and our world is suddenly turned upside down. What "used to be" is no longer and navigating in "Cancerland" an unknown territory for many can be a scary and lonely journey.
How we each react and cope with the changes, will depend on our personality, age, and past experience with serious illness and the end of life.

Your Instructor
For the past 10 years, I have been committed to making a difference for families dealing with the end of life and grief. My mission is to help close the gap of loneliness that many patient's and loved ones experience and to support the 1 in 7 children who are losing mom, dad or a sibling before age 20. I do it by sharing stories of people who have stared down the same path, and by developing programs and "hands-on tools" that empowers and educate.
